Our Therapists
KALA (MGTL)
Kala, our managing director, is the brains, beauty and brawn behind Alak and brings with her a wealth of beauty experience and a determination to offer good customer service to everyone who walks through the salon.
Kala trained at Strode College studying her Level 2 and 3 in beauty and Level 3 in holistic massage before starting her own business as a mobile therapist, after a few years working in other salons gaining experience.
In 2017 Alak the salon opened to the public and bought a new era to the beauty industry in Bridgwater, offering a whole spa experience within a town setting, and one of the largest ranges of therapies available locally. Kala loves to upskill her staff and has undertaken a Level 4 teaching qualification which has helped develop the careers of the team around her. Kala truly is a committed individual who wants nothing but the best for her clients or her staff and selflessly often forgoes days off in order to be the best she can and make Alak a place people love to step into.
When time allows she loves to run and keep fit and can often be found walking her adorable dalmatian or spending time with family friends. However, her true passion is travel and Kala loves nothing more than getting away from it all so she can return feeling revitalised and ready to make others feel good about themselves.
